One day a little lady cooked
porridge. Then she told her little maid Marjatta not to go alone to the forest. Ignoring the warnings, Marjatta went to the forest alone. "Help! Help! I got lost!" she shouted. After walking around for a while, she came to a little cabin. |
| Pim, Pam and little bear Pom had left the cabin and were having a walk before breakfast. Their porridge was ready waiting for them to return. |
| Marjatta the little maid opened
the door carefully and found her way to the kitchen. There she was charmed by the smell of porridge. When she sat on a small chair, it suddenly broke up. She found a bigger chair. She sat on it and ate a big portion of porridge. |

| At the same time Pim, Pam and little bear Pom come to a meadow, where they were going to pick some flowers. |

When Marjatta had finished a big bowl of porridge, she started to feel sleepy. She went upstairs and found there a lovely little bed with a soft mattress. She lay down and fell asleep. |
| Pim, Pam and little bear Pom were
on their way back home. After walking a while, they got back to their cabin. |

When they came to the kitchen, Daddy
bear yelled with his deep and loud voice: " Who has eaten my porridge?" The little bear squeaked: "Someone has broken my chair!" Amazed they went upstairs and oh, boy, there she was sound asleep! |
| By shaking the bed they woke
Marjatta up. Little Marjatta was scared of the bears and ran away to the forest. The bears were confused by the strange guest, but smiling they started to make some more porridge. |
