The Monkey and the
Dolphin |
|
|
Once
upon a time, there was a sailor who had a monkey. It was called "Norma" and it was so funny! The sailor took the monkey with him to entertain the other sailors. When the sailors ate she pretended eating too.
|
| One day there
was a storm and the sailors were busy all the time. The monkey was scared. She was funny but nobody was looking at her. In the sea there were some dolphins. |
|
When the ship started to sink the sailors jumped into the sea and the dolphins took them on their back. The monkey was swimming too and she looked like a human being so a dolphin took her on its back. |

The dolphin asked her:
"Where are you from? Are you from Athens?" "Oh, yes, I am from a famous family," the monkey answered. "Do you know Piraeus?" the dolphin asked again. |
The monkey thought that Piraeus was a famous man in Athens. She told the dolphin: "Yes, yes, I know him. He is our friend and he eats with us in our mansion every day!" |
| The dolphin understood that the
monkey was not a human being and that it was lying. So it swam very fast and the monkey got drowned. |
