The mother goat told her seven little kids to
beware of the big, bad wolf. She was going shopping to the market. |
| There was a knock at the door. The kids knew it was not their mother because of the gruff voice and the black feet. |

The wolf was angry.
He went to the baker's to get some flour to make his feet white. |
| The kids thought the wolf was their mother. They opened the door and saw the wolf. They were terrified and tried to hide. The wolf leapt into the room and started looking for the little kids. |

The wolf was full so he left the
house and went to sleep under a big oak tree. When the mother goat came home kid number seven told her what had happened. They went off to find the wolf with scissors, needle and thread. |
| They cut the wolf's stomach and
took out all the kids. Then they filled the wolf's stomach with stones. He woke up and went to the river to drink and he fell in and drowned. |
